For those that are still keeping paper lists, I have found that a nice small spiral notebook is perfect for my purse or school tote bag to keep my "to-do" list in. The $1 section of Michaels, AC Moore and Target type stores are a great place to find these. With notepads, I found that the top page gets crinkled up and sometimes ripped off with the constant movement of a purse or tote bag.
If you've moved into the digital age, however, there are lots of good "to-do" list options available. On my Blackberry, I have a TASKS application that comes standard on the phone. You can set reminders and mark each task as in progress, completed, deferred, waiting, etc. It's okay, but not one I would recommend for diehard listers!
Here are a few digital versions of "to-do" lists. Some have a smartphone version for the super-techy in you!
Todo Task Management - Keep your tasks up-to-date on all your devices by choosing one of Todo's versatile sync options, now including Dropbox and iCloud!
Remember the Milk-Online To Do List and Task Management
Ta-Da Lists - Web Based System that allows you to make lists for yourself or share them with others. It couldn't be simpler.
