I gave each of my 6 chaperones a "Field Trip Care Package" - like a survival kit for chaperones. With the help of my colleague, Christina, here's what we gave to our parents.
The contents included...
Gloves and Band-aids for cuts and scraps
Baby Wipes for cleaning up spills or wiping faces
Kleenex for blowing noses
Snack for a hungry adult :-)
Complete with a tag thanking them for helping out and explaining the contents of the care package. We also included our cell numbers and the number to the school in case of an emergency.
If you're interested in making up this care package for your chaperones, I've fancied it up so you can download it. We always put an itinerary in ours and/or special instructions and activities. Enjoy!!!
Here's the package inserts and labels. The labels use Avery 5160. If you would like them customized and are having a hard time manipulating through googledocs, shoot me an email and I'll be happy to customize these for you.
ETA: The Google Docs isn't loading the documents correctly...sooooo, here are the documents in PDF format, so the fonts, etc load correctly. You can write in your telephone numbers and if you want them customized further, email me.
